Coordination between the main cutting edge and the secondary cutting edge:

Main Cutting Edge:

The main cutting edge is mounted at the front edge of the bucket and serves as the core cutting part. It is usually made from a solid steel plate with designed through-holes for securing the secondary cutting edge. A single main cutting edge can accommodate various combinations of secondary cutting edges, with the hole positions determined by the main cutting edge. Weld-in cutting edge profile with a bevel along the front for penetration and a weld bevel along the back edge.

Secondary Cutting Edge:

The secondary cutting edge is installed below the main cutting edge, typically composed of 2 to 4 pieces with countersunk holes for bolt fastening. This design allowsfor the independent replacement of the secondary cutting edge, protecting the main cutting edge and extending its service life, with replacement costs lower than those of the main cutting edge. Secondary cutting edges come in single-bevel and double-bevel types. Double-bevel secondary cutting edges can be rotated for use, allowing each piece to be fully utilized as it wears down, thereby reducing maintenancecosts.
